Where a raw GoHighLevel account shines
It's genuinely powerful. Unlimited contacts and users, a huge feature set and a 14-day trial on any plan. If you love building systems, have time to learn the platform and want total control, it can do a lot.
What a health practice runs into
HIPAA isn't on by default. HighLevel's own help article says accounts are not HIPAA compliant by default. Turning it on means buying the HIPAA add-on, signing the BAA inside the app and enabling it for each sub-account. Once it's on, the add-on can't be canceled or downgraded, and HighLevel is clear that your organization stays responsible for meeting HIPAA requirements (HighLevel HIPAA help article).
