5. HIPAA Compliance and Business Associate Agreement (BAA)

Lead Better HQ is committed to supporting our functional medicine and wellness clients in their HIPAA compliance efforts.

Business Associate: To the extent that Brand Better, through the Lead Better HQ Platform and Services, creates, receives, maintains, or transmits Protected Health Information (PHI) on behalf of a Covered Entity (Client), Brand Better functions as a Business Associate under HIPAA.

Data Safeguards: We implement appropriate administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect PHI as required by HIPAA's Security Rule and Privacy Rule.

Business Associate Agreement (BAA): A separate Business Associate Agreement (BAA) is required and will be executed with all Covered Entity Clients. This BAA further defines our respective obligations concerning the protection of PHI. Your use of Lead Better HQ for PHI is contingent upon the execution of this BAA.

Client Responsibility: Client remains responsible for ensuring its own overall HIPAA compliance, including obtaining necessary patient consents, implementing internal policies, and using Lead Better HQ in a HIPAA-compliant manner.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.

7. Third-Party Links

Our website and Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not operated by us. This Privacy Policy does not apply to such third-party services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
