Where Flodesk shines
Design. Full stop. Flodesk's templates are stunning, the editor is a joy to use and the pricing is simple. The Everything plan adds checkouts, sales pages and funnels, so you can sell a guide or a workshop without another tool. And the free trial needs no card.
For a brand-forward practitioner sending a monthly letter to a warm community, it's lovely.
What a health practice runs into
HIPAA isn't addressed. We couldn't find any HIPAA or BAA statement on Flodesk's pricing page or help center as of October 2026. A general newsletter is one thing. It doesn't know what's happening in your practice. Flodesk isn't connected to Practice Better, so it can't tell who just booked, who missed an appointment or who hasn't been back since spring. Someone has to move people between lists by hand.
Email is one channel. Texting, scheduling, a pipeline and DMs all live somewhere else, which means more tools and more places for someone to fall through.
